The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Snake lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
The Snake throws a series of punches but Hammersmith avoids them all with ease.
Hammersmith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Snake looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hammersmith wants to control but The Snake is keeping him busy.
Hammersmith working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The Snake is trying to improve his position.
Hammersmith misses with the ground and pound.
Hammersmith is working to tighten is grip on The Snake's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. The Snake has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Hammersmith is really squeezing tight and eventually The Snake passes out! Hammersmith breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
