Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tim Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakamo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Song comes to the cage accompanied by I Want to be More by Paul Dateh. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tim Song!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jakamo Jones!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice leg kick lands there from Jones.
Jones buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jones misses with a body shot.
Jones closes the distance and clinches.
Jones is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jones throws a punch but it's blocked by Song.
Jones can't get the takedown.
Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Song slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Song's shoulder, as Song tries to avoid the shot.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Song throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.
Jones looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jones moves into the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Song is controlling him.

Jones lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Jones has clasped his hands together around Song's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Jones in side control, throwing shots but Song defends.
Song wants to control but Jones postures up.
Song is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Song is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jones accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Song isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jones stacks Song on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jones!
Jones stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Song shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!
A control attempt from Jones but he's now mounted!
Song goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jones turns into him and now he's in Song's guard.
Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Song has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Song's legs - danger averted.
Song is breathing heavily.

Jones stands and steps away. Song gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jones rushes Song and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Jones lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Song or not.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Song pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The referee is keeping an eye on Jones - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Jones is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jones keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Song's efforts to push away.

Jones prevents a takedown attempt there.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Song fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Song. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Jones looks to land a combination but Song avoids it well.
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Song.
Song avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

A head punch on the inside from Jones fails to land.
Jones is struggling to control the position.
Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Song stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones throws a series of punches but Song moves out of range.
Jones tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Song walks into a left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jakamo Jones dominated that round.
That's time! Song's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Song tries for a takedown but Jones sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Jones!
Jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Song fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Song. That's going to take a lot out of him.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Song.
Song tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jones sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Song somewhat.
Jones drives through and clinches with Song against the cage.

Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jones lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Song or not.
Jones lands a hook to the side of the head.
Jones pulls guard successfully.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Song pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jones is keeping the position for now.
Song looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Jones is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Song looking for subs off his back but Jones has passed one foot through into half guard.
Jones stands up from half guard.

Song shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Song keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Song shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.
Jones misses with a leg kick.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jakamo Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Song takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Song tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Song throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jones's waist but Jones gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Song off to one side.
Jakamo Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jones lands a slapping body shot.
Jones throws a series of punches but Song avoids them all with ease.
Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Song circles away quickly and effectively.
Jones clobbers Song with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Jones lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jakamo Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jones jabs Song right on the nose. Song blinks but takes it well.
Song is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A jab from Jones misses.
Oh Song is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jones throws a jab but it's blocked by Song.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Song.
Song ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jones looks to land a combination but Song avoids it well.

Song avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jones pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Jones throws the left hand but Song avoids the punch easily.
Song slips a jab from Jones.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Song.
Song displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jones throws out the jab.
Song seems to have got his legs back now.
Song misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Jones scores with a body shot.
Jones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Song shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Song trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Song wants to get back to full guard.
Song with the active half guard here but Jones passes nicely into side control.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but Song is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Jones advances to full mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jakamo Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Song changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Song manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Song shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Jones Rushes Song and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Song is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Jones Piles on the pressure and Song crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jakamo Jones!
