PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rock Hoover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Caschera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caschera has chosen Crimson King by Demons & Wizards limited edition as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rock Hoover!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Max Caschera!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoover tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Caschera swivels and escapes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Caschera.
Caschera trying to control the action but Hoover is working from the bottom.
Hoover manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Caschera landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

It looks like Rock Hoover has been cut.
Caschera is looking to advance position but Hoover won't allow it.
Hoover missing with punches from the bottom.

Hoover looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Hoover has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Caschera is working away from the top position though.
Hoover is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Caschera is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Caschera wants to stand up but Hoover has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Caschera has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hoover defend it? Caschera steps over the head and cranks it - Hoover is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Caschera!
