Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Vaughn Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cowboy Cerrone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cowboy Cerrone looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cerrone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cerrone takes one on the button.
Taylor shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Taylor can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cerrone is looking to escape.

Cerrone sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cerrone keeps working.

Taylor takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Cerrone taking some punishment here, with Taylor in his half guard.
Taylor works his foot free and advances to mount.

Taylor is looking to take a break and control but Cerrone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Taylor is taking a breather. Cerrone says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Taylor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Taylor wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cerrone keeps working.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Cerrone gets caught flat footed, as Taylor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Taylor drops back looking for a leg! Cerrone is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cerrone manages to kick Taylor off! Taylor jumps back into Cerrone's guard.

Taylor shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Taylor showed some decent athleticism there.
Taylor throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Taylor is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cerrone throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Taylor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cerrone defends it well.
Taylor is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cerrone sees it coming and defends easily.

Cerrone has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Taylor. Oh but Cerrone has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Taylor goes limp - he's gone! Cerrone jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
