Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sid Cosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Longfellow Deeds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cosby comes to the cage accompanied by All Star. Deeds has chosen Evils Deeds as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Cosby throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Deeds looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Deeds fails with the takedown.
Cosby connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Deeds takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cosby leaves Deeds with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Sid Cosby has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Longfellow Deeds.
Deeds misses with a wild body shot.
Cosby lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cosby moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Deeds walks into a straight right hand from Cosby.
Deeds ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cosby moves away.
Deeds misses the shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Cosby.
Cosby goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Deeds is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cosby sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Deeds throws a lazy right hand but Cosby sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Deeds takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Cosby tries to bum rush Deeds with a series of wild strikes but Deeds uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Cosby moves into range and connects with a jab.
Deeds shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Cosby lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
A jab from Cosby finds it's way through Deeds's defenses.
Deeds shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cosby pinned against the cage. Cosby gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Deeds drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cosby lands a big right hand that sends Deeds crashing to the mat! Cosby stays standing though and waves Deeds back to his feet!

Longfellow Deeds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
