Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Dismembered. On his way into the cage it seems that John Taylor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily John Taylor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stevenson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Taylor tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stevenson swivels and escapes.

Taylor ducks under a wild hook from Stevenson.

Taylor throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Stevenson was covering up waiting for the punch and Taylor finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tayloris looking to pass into half guard but Stevenson pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Stevenson is in guard.

Stevenson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stevenson wants to control from the top but Taylor keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Stevenson misses the jab.
Taylor slips under a jab from Stevenson.
Stevenson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Taylor.

Taylor feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Taylor is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Stevenson is forced to tap! Great finish!
