Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wolf Ha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Sav (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wolf Ha!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Sav!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Eddie Farnsworth and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sav tries to close the distance and clinch but Ha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Sav will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sav gets caught flat footed, as Ha shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Sav escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ha gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ha content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Sav avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Ha thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sav throws a couple of heel strikes.
Ha scoring with some ground and pound.
Ha throwing strikes from guard but Sav blocks nicely.
Ha passes into half guard.

Sav looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Sav is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ha pulls his head out easily.
Ha throwing shots but Sav is blocking nicely.

Sav looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Ha decides to return to a standing position.
Sav looks gassed!
Ha tries to clinch up but Sav circles away and keeps his distance.

Ha moves into the clinch.
Ha could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sav gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Ha.
Ha wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Sav with a knee to the head.


It looks like Wolf Ha has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sav lands an elbow inside that Ha shrugs off.
Sav lands an elbow that stopped Ha in his tracks for a moment.
Sav is pressed up against the ropes. Ha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sav down to the mat. Sav avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Ha decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Sav tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Ha seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Sav makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Sav tries to clinch but Ha is having none of it.
Ha darts in trying to clinch

and Sav counters with a shoot takedown. Ha fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sav with a nice head shot there.
Sav is looking to stand up but Ha won't let him.
Ha controls Sav momentarily but Sav frees himself.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ha wants to sweep but no luck.
Sav wants to stand but Ha has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Sav decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Ha scores with a kick to the body.
Sav tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ha swats him away and circles back towards the center.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sav is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Sav lands an elbow that stopped Ha in his tracks for a moment.
Sav putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ha in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Ha wants to get back to striking at distance but Sav won't allow it.
Ha gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Sav.
A right hook to the body lands for Ha.
Ha is trying to break free.
Ha is trying to drag Sav to the mat but Sav just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolf Ha. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sav jumps into guard, dragging Ha to the mat.
Ha throws and elbow that misses. Sav uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ha's guard. Nice move by Sav!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Sav is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ha is trying to control the position but Sav postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Joe Sav will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Wolf Ha's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Ha stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ha wants it to stay on the feet.
Sav slaps away a takedown attempt from Ha, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ha tries to clinch but Sav is having none of it.
Ha throws a one two combo.
Sav tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ha.
Sav is looking to clinch but Ha is avoiding it.
Sav is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Sav tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ha swivels and escapes.
Sav keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wolf Ha. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Ha swats away the attempt to clinch by Sav.

Sav gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Ha tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Sav smiles and moves away.
Ha misses with a body kick.

Sav closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Sav tries to stall but Ha uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Sav is pressed up against the ropes. Ha has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sav down to the mat. Sav avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Sav rushes Ha and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Sav pulls guard effortlessly.

Ha is posturing up here but Sav has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Ha tries to roll out but it's too tight and Ha has to tap! Slick submission there by Sav!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Joe Sav!
