Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between rocky boxxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maurice Brennan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think boxxer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to eye of the tiger . Maurice Brennan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Dean Styles and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brennan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Brennan tries to keep at a distance but boxxer has taken the fight into the clinch.

Brennan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Brennan wants to sweep here but boxxer controlling him for the moment.
Brennan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

boxxer is desperately trying to improve his position but Brennan has a good base and remains in mount.

Brennan goes for an armbar but boxxer turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from boxxer.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Brennan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. boxxer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. boxxer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Brennan throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! boxxer escapes and throws Brennan's legs to the side, diving into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
boxxer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Brennan sprawls well. Brennan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. boxxer gets slowly back to his feet.

boxxer digs a right hand into Brennan's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Brennan's gas tank.

Brennan moves out of range of the leg kick from boxxer.
Brennan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by boxxer.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Brennan tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. boxxer just stands there and leans against the ropes.
boxxer tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brennan smiles and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from boxxer.
boxxer closes the distance and clinches up with Brennan, looking for a takedown. boxxer pushes Brennan against the ropes but Brennan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for rocky boxxer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
boxxer lands a nice shot to the body.
boxxer throws a right hand that Brennan ducks under and follows up with a left that Brennan also avoids with ease.

Brennan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. boxxer defends it nicely.

and boxxer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Brennan takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Brennan jumps guard but boxxer stands there with Brennan around his waist. Brennan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
