Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamilton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mash fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hamilton avoids it really well and circles away.
Mash shoots for a double leg takedown but Hamilton sprawls well. He's pushed Mash's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mash shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hamilton as he avoids it easily.
Sean Hamilton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ippo Mash.
Mash misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hamilton stuffs the takedown attempt from Mash. Mash gets slowly back to his feet.
Mash throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hamilton's waist but Hamilton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mash off to one side.
Mash looks gassed!
Mash shoots in looking for a takedown. Hamilton tries to sprawl out of it but Mash keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hamilton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hamilton lands a left and a right that send Mash crashing to the mat, dazed. Hamilton thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Ippo Mash has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hamilton connects with a crisp jab.
Sean Hamilton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mash on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hamilton scores with a three punch combo!
Hamilton connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mash tumbling to the canvas! Hamilton pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mash was done - good stoppage!
