The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Conolly on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Villareiz. Villareiz obviously looking to wear him down.
Conolly shoots in for a double leg but Villareiz sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Conolly avoids the head kick by Villareiz.
Conolly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Villareiz pinned against the cage. Villareiz gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Villareiz scores with a punch to the head.

It looks like Ruy Conolly has been cut.

Villareiz is looking to slow Conolly down with leg kicks.
