Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCloud fails with a takedown attempt.
Bantum slaps away a takedown attempt from McCloud, before circling back to the center of the mat.
McCloud closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bantum circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Duncan McCloud. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bantum avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bantum takes the fight into the clinch.
Bantum gets underhooks to prevent McCloud's takedown attempt.

Bantum pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McCloud tries to clinch but Bantum moves away
and Bantum counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
McCloud misses with a takedown

and Bantum counters with a shoot takedown. McCloud fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bantum in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Bantum postures up and lands a big shot to McCloud's brow.
McCloud working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bantum.

McCloud looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bantum gets to his feet - McCloud follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bantum stalks McCloud and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McCloud's face. McCloud staggers backwards, shaken.

McCloud is rocked!

Bantum is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - McCloud is in big trouble! Bantum is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking McCloud. Poor guy.
