Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harald Emil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shynia Tamasako (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harald Emil could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shynia Tamasako's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Emil has taken the fight to the clinch.

Tamasako escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tamasako tries to clinch there but Emil circles away.
Emil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tamasako was well out of range. Poor timing from Emil.

Tamasako gets a takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Tamasako tries to pass to full mount but Emil defends it.

Tamasako is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Emil is looking for a sweep. Tamasako is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Emil throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Tamasako tries to keep at a distance but Emil has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tamasako jumps guard and drags Emil to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Emil working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tamasako doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tamasako manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
