Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Uolevi Gepardi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikola Tesla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tesla is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by AC/DC's Thunderstruck. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gepardi uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tesla.
Tesla swings for the body but Gepardi moves out of range.

Tesla is trying to break the clinch but Gepardi has him pressed against the cage.

Gepardi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tesla's guard.

Gepardi jumps guard but Tesla stands there with Gepardi around his waist. Gepardi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Gepardi ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Gepardi no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gepardi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tesla doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tesla manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gepardi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gepardi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tesla sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Gepardi counters with a single leg into guard. Tesla didn't expect that.

Gepardi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tesla is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gepardi, into his guard.
Tesla really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gepardi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Tesla won't allow Gepardi to get back to his feet.

Gepardi throws an elbow but Tesla slips to the side and avoids it well.
Gepardi is putting a hurting on Tesla here, landing some big shots from side control.
Gepardi is looking to take a break and control but Tesla is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Tesla seems a little lost for a moment, as Gepardi dominates the positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gepardi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tesla knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Tesla is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Gepardi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tesla is just riding it out for now. Gepardi eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Gepardi wants to control but Tesla is keeping him busy.
Gepardi stalling away here and it's allowed Tesla to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tesla is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Gepardi has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Gepardi shoots in looking for a takedown. Tesla tries to sprawl out of it but Gepardi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Tesla manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gepardi shoots for a double leg takedown but Tesla sprawls well. He's pushed Gepardi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Gepardi jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Tesla is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Tesla and Gepardi has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
