Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jake McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Krunov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Jump Around. The crowd seem to be enjoying Krunov's choice of entrance music: Marcus Krunov. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krunov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGuire is fending him off so far but Krunov persists. Nope, McGuire circles away and we're back to standing.
McGuire lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Krunov circles away quickly and effectively.
Krunov shoots in and bounces McGuire off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Krunov wants to control from the top but McGuire keeps moving.
Krunov throwing strikes from guard but McGuire blocks nicely.
McGuire keeping moving, preventing Krunov from controlling successfully.

Krunov lands a couple of decent looking shots.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krunov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
McGuire is looking to improve his position.

McGuire is pressing down on Krunov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Krunov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Krunov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
McGuire preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
McGuire is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
McGuire trying to keep a closed guard but Krunov is proving a slippery customer.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
McGuire looks to land a combination. Krunov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Marcus Krunov has been cut.
Krunov looks gassed!
Krunov shoots for a takedown but McGuire saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Krunov tries to clinch up but McGuire circles away and keeps his distance.
McGuire stuffs the takedown attempt from Krunov. Krunov gets slowly back to his feet.
Jake McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Krunov.
McGuire attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
McGuire looks for the body kick but Krunov saw that one coming.
Krunov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McGuire as he jumps to the side.
McGuire throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krunov.
McGuire throws a one two combo.
McGuire misses with a two punch combination.
McGuire looks to land a combination. Krunov sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Krunov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around McGuire's waist but McGuire gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Krunov off to one side.
McGuire uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Krunov has time to react.
McGuire scores with a one two! Krunov had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Krunov is rocked!
McGuire lands a nice looking body shot.
Krunov has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Krunov there as he acknowledges the shot.
McGuire dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McGuire!
Krunov is still on wobbly legs! Can McGuire finish him?
Krunov has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Marcus Krunov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
McGuire thuds a left hand into Krunov's body.
McGuire scores with a hook to the body. Krunov takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
McGuire is working the combinations to good effect here.
Krunov checks a low kick from McGuire.
Krunov seems to have recovered his senses.
McGuire rushes Krunov with punches - Krunov moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Krunov goes down! McGuire follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake McGuire!
