Lashley fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut.

Lashley rushes Ware and presses him up against the cage.
Ware wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Lashley tries for a takedown. No joy.

Lashley breaks from the clinch.
Ware throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lashley gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Ware's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Ware has had enough of the clinch but Lashley keeps him there for the moment.
Ware has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lashley pulls Ware into guard.
Lashley is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ware wants to get up but he can't break Lashley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Ware stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lashley swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Lashley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lashley lands in his opponent's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lashley can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ware goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Ware drops Lashley with a beautiful combination! Lashley stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ware is looking for the KO!

Lashley is rocked!
Ware lands with a big right hook that stumbles Lashley - he's out on his feet here! Ware follows up with another monster hook that separates Lashley from consciousness! Lashley falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Ware stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
