The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
barra fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gracie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The fight stays on the outside here - barra looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
barra tries to clinch up but Gracie circles away and keeps his distance.
barra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gracie moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gracie throws a head kick but barra moves out of range.
barra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing barra off to one side.
Gracie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie throws a right hand that barra ducks under and follows up with a left that barra also avoids with ease.
barra swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Gracie shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
barra throws a sloppy head kick and Gracie moves out of range easily.

Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
