Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Elorde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josey Wales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elorde comes to the cage accompanied by Beep! Beep!. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wales takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Elorde tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wales was well out of range. Poor timing from Elorde.
Elorde fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wales on the side of the head.
Elorde throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Elorde blocks a head kick by Wales.

Wales scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Wales tries for a kimura but Elorde is defending well.
A lull in the action here.
Elorde is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Wales is controlling him well.
Elorde bucks up and tries to throw Wales off but instead Wales has got his back!

Wales cracks Elorde with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Elorde from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wales lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Wales is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Wales gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Wales gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Wales apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Elorde dances in with a quick combination. Wales is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Elorde snaps Wales's head back. Wales stumbles backwards against the cage. Elorde steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Wales's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Wales just didn't come prepared.
