Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomez shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Greg defends it nicely.
Gomez looks for a takedown but Greg sprawls well.
Gomez gets the takedown into side control.
Greg is pushing Gomez's head away, looking to escape. Gomez manages to hold on to the position though.
Greg parries the strikes from Gomez easily there. Gomez is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Greg to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gomez prevents Greg from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gomez working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Greg is trying to get back to his feet.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Greg as he avoids it easily.
Samuel Greg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Gomez.
Gomez shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Gomez scores with a leg kick.
Gomez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Greg but Greg pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Greg jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Greg throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gomez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gomez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Greg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gomez looks gassed!
Gomez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Gomez tries for a kimura but Greg is defending well.
Greg sneaks out the side door and pushes Gomez away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Gomez on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Thiago Gomez has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jab, jab by Greg - just one landing.
Greg looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gomez throws a sloppy head kick and Greg moves out of range easily.
Gomez takes one on the button.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Greg lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Gomez can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Greg and Gomez drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Greg.
