Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei East (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around East's waist but East gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wade off to one side.

East feints and as Wade raises his hands in defense, East changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Wade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Wade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
East slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
East tries to control but Wade wriggling away.

East tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
East lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

I looks like East might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wade fails with the takedown

and East counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
East wants to control from the top but Wade keeps moving.

Despite being in the dominant position, Andrei East just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

and East decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Wade's guard.

East is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
