Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Elmeri Hautamaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hendo Janari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hautamaki comes to the cage accompanied by Nekromantix-Generation 666. Janari has chosen Airbourne - Let's Ride as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Janari throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Hautamaki tumbling to the canvas!

It looks like Elmeri Hautamaki has been cut.
Hautamaki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Hautamaki looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Janari has picked Hautamaki up and slammed him! Hautamaki can't keep hold of the triangle and Janari manages to pass to side control!

Hautamaki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Janari connects with a nice short shot to Hautamaki's temple.

Janari got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hautamaki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Janari has managed to get both his arms back between Hautamaki's legs - danger averted.

Hautamaki has his foot on Janari's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Janari works his way back into a safe position though.

Hautamaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Janari gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Janari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hautamaki swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Janari passes Hautamaki's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Janari lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Janari is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Janari really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hautamaki. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Janari winds up and cracks Hautamaki with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Hautamaki wants to control but Janari is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nice takedown defense from Janari. No joy for Hautamaki on that attempt.
Hautamaki shoots in for a double leg but Janari sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
