The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ottavainen throws an overhand right that lands on Pizarro's shoulder, as Pizarro tries to avoid the shot.
Pizarro throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ottavainen's waist but Ottavainen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pizarro off to one side.

Pizarro gets a takedown into half guard.
Pizarro trying to pass the guard but Ottavainen defending well.
Ottavainen is trying to get back to full guard.
Ottavainen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ottavainen is not content to let Pizarro control the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Pizarro lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Ottavainen lands a left and a right that send Pizarro crashing to the mat, dazed. Ottavainen thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Dionicio Pizarro has been cut.
Ottavainen misses with an uppercut.

Ottavainen has Pizarro up against the cage in a clinch.
