The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Ichiban.
lamma keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ichiban bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps lamma's head backwards.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Ichiban rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but lamma moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ichiban. lamma does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ichiban throws a right hand that lamma ducks under and follows up with a left that lamma also avoids with ease.

lamma gets a takedown into half guard.
lamma is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ichiban is just riding it out for now. lamma eventually gives up the hold.
Ichiban tries to kick lamma off but lamma keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Ichiban knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for lamma on the ground.

Ichiban is refusing to be controlled, as lamma sits in half guard.
Ichiban is looking to escape.
lamma wants to work for an arm triangle but Ichiban is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
lamma is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ichiban doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time lamma.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

pj lamma comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
