Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Karelin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karelin comes to the cage accompanied by Krynitza - Motherland. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Karelin closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Williams is looking for a sweep. Karelin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karelin thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Karelin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Williams. Williams obviously looking to wear him down.

Karelin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Josh Williams is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Williams lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Karelin has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Karelin and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Karelin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Karelin is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Williams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Karelin swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Karelin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Williams wants to hold on but Karelin pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Karelin lands a strong strike to the head of Williams. That's dazed him! Karelin looking to finish here. Williams is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Karelin lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
