Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bart Guthrie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory The Giraffe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The Giraffe has chosen The Little Things as his entrance music. Bart Guthrie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bart Guthrie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Gregory The Giraffe!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guthrie throws out a loose jab but The Giraffe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Guthrie paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Guthrie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Gregory The Giraffe has been cut.
The Giraffe uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Guthrie.
Guthrie throws the kick towards the body but The Giraffe avoids it.
Guthrie keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Guthrie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Guthrie misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Guthrie misses with a head shot.
Guthrie thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Guthrie postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have The Giraffe in real trouble here! The ref calls for The Giraffe to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
