McAndrew is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by New Moon Rising by Wolf Mother. Alex McAndrew is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McAndrew.
McAndrew staying out of range there.
Alex McAndrew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab by Jones.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jones connects with a crisp jab.
Jones slips a straight right by McAndrew.

McAndrew fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but McAndrew persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
McAndrew throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely.
Jones is not content to let McAndrew control the position.

Jones pushes McAndrew off and gets back to his feet.
Jones slips under a jab.
Jones wants to clinch.

McAndrew fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
McAndrew blocks the elbow strike.
McAndrew blocks a body shot from Jones.
McAndrew lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McAndrew drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jones pulls his leg out and moves away.

Jones tries to keep at a distance but McAndrew has taken the fight into the clinch.
Jones swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jones is pressed up against the cage. McAndrew has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jones down to the mat. Jones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Alexander Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex McAndrew.
McAndrew fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McAndrew moves in looking to clinch but Jones pushes him off.
Jones lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
McAndrew throws a shot from downtown. Jones moves away and avoids it.
Jones scores with a body shot.
McAndrew looks gassed!
McAndrew throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jones lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McAndrew.
McAndrew tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.
Jones throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck McAndrew on the side of the head.
Jones throws a big shot that misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Jones scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jones swings for the body but McAndrew moves out of range.
Jones throws a leg kick which misses McAndrew's front leg but catches the back leg as McAndrew tries to avoid it.
Nice straight punches there by Jones. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Jones.

McAndrew is rocked!
McAndrew avoids a punch combination nicely.
McAndrew is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking McAndrew out cold! The fight is over!
