Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Doug Wallaby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Japheth Vasya (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallaby comes to the cage accompanied by Europe - The Final Countdown. Doug Wallaby could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Japheth Vasya 's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vasya shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wallaby napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Vasya wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallaby keeps working.

Vasya is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wallaby is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Wallaby is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Vasya asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The ground and pound from Vasya seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Vasya swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Wallaby is now in Vasya 's guard. A big mistake from Vasya there, giving up the dominant position!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Wallaby has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vasya is proving hard to escape from.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Wallaby wanted to stand there but Vasya had control of the position.
Wallaby really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vasya pushes a forearm under Wallaby's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wallaby is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
