Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pena Hirmu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Belfort (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hirmu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to AC/DC - War Machine. Belfort has chosen Jedi Mind Tricks - Death March as his entrance music. Pena Hirmu could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to BJ Belfort's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belfort displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hirmu throws out the jab.
Hirmu throws a lazy right hand but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Belfort drops his hands momentarily and Hirmu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Belfort clinches.
Hirmu blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Hirmu has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hirmu breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Hirmu shoots in for a takedown but Belfort shows good takedown defense.
Belfort throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Belfort shoots for a takedown but Hirmu saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Belfort takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hirmu stuns Belfort with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Belfort gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hirmu.
Hirmu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hirmu throws a hook to the side of Belfort's head but Belfort sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hirmu misses with an uppercut.
Pena Hirmu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Belfort bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Horrible takedown by Belfort or perhaps it was just good defense by Hirmu which made him look bad.
Belfort moves out of range as Hirmu strikes.
Hirmu throws a nice looking combination but Belfort bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hirmu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Belfort lands with a hook. Hirmu tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Belfort looks for a takedown but Hirmu sprawls well.

Hirmu is looking to break free of the clinch but Belfort has double underhooks.

Hirmu lands a nice shot to the body.
Hirmu is trying to force a seperation but Belfort has the dominant position.

Hirmu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Belfort takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Hirmu fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Belfort counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hirmu won't be happy with that.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hirmu sneaks back into half guard.
Hirmu tries to kick Belfort off but Belfort keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Belfort uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hirmu.
Belfort shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hirmu as he avoids it easily.
Belfort connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hirmu misses with a looping right.

Hirmu throws a lazy right hand but Belfort sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
