Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zach Dahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jure Miljak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dahl's entrance music is Love Me Sexy. A fine choice. Zach Dahl has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zach Dahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jure Miljak!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dahl fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Miljak avoids it really well and circles away.

Miljak drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miljak looking to pass the guard.
Miljak stays in close to Dahl's body and controls the position.
Miljak stopping the sweep attempt from Dahl.
Miljak wants to control from the top but Dahl keeps moving.

Miljak decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Dahl, up you get!

Dahl gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dahl goes for a takedown attempt but Miljak pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Miljak walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Dahl checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Miljak thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dahl's head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dahl is looking for a triangle but Miljak pushes his legs off easily.

Dahl has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Miljak is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dahl.

Miljak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dahl doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Miljak.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dahl is refusing to be controlled, as Miljak sits in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Miljak leaves Dahl with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zach Dahl. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Dahl finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Miljak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dahl looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close round but I would say that Zach Dahl will probably get the nod.

Dahl had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miljak defends it easily.

Dahl is working an open guard so Miljak takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Dahl shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Miljak's guard.

Miljak pushes Dahl off and scrambles back to his feet.

Miljak is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Dahl's shoulder. That is not cool.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Miljak decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Miljak rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dahl moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dahl tries to bum rush Miljak with a series of wild strikes but Miljak uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Dahl looks to land a combination but Miljak avoids it well.
Miljak avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jure Miljak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Dahl has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
