Chase swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Chase counters with a one-two to the body.
Chase tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

St James shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Chase's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

St James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

St James has gone for a leg lock! Chase slips out almost immediately though and dives into St James's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chase wants to get up but he can't break St James's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Chase won't allow St James to sweep him here.

St James pushes Chase off and gets back to his feet.
Chase throws a sloppy head kick and St James moves out of range easily.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

St James changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chase looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
St James is staying tight to Chase's torso, preventing him from escaping.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Chase's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

St James is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

St James stands up and beckons Chase to join him on the feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
St James has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Chase lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
St James with a poor takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A head kick misses from Chase.
Chase throws a left and a right that both miss

and St James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
St James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chase swivels though and keeps the full guard.

St James thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Chase utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

I would just about give that final round to Jason St James.
