Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ravish McTavish (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qing Nan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Prong - Whose Fist Is This Anyway?. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ravish McTavish!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Qing Nan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTavish takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

McTavish gets the takedown into side control.
Lee is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on McTavish's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Lee is trying to maintain the position but McTavish is very close to passing his half guard.
Lee regains full guard. Nicely done.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lee is adopting a defensive guard.

Despite being in the dominant position, Qing Nan Lee just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

McTavish is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Lee is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Nice uppercut lands for Lee. That snapped McTavish's head back.

McTavish bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McTavish kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

McTavish misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

McTavish tries to close the distance and clinch but Lee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lee throws a right and a left that McTavish avoids nicely.

and Lee counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Qing Nan Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McTavish darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Qing Nan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Lee is breathing heavily.

Qing Nan Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lee, as that shot connected.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McTavish moves away.

Lee is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down McTavish rather than just go for the knockout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
