Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scott Sanford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamamoto has chosen Avenged Sevenfold - Walk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto stuffs the takedown.
Yamamoto is looking to clinch.
Yamamoto tries to clinch there but Sanford circles away.
Sanford shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sanford was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sanford lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Yamamoto hang on?
Sanford is breathing heavily.
Yamamoto wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Yamamoto really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sanford. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sanford trying to control but Yamamoto is having none of it.
Yamamoto is in a horrible position here. Sanford smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Sanford can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Yamamoto is looking to escape.

Sanford get's back to his feet.
Sanford circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sanford tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yamamoto swivels and escapes.
Sanford scores a takedown into full mount!
Yamamoto's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Yamamoto is squirming around, avoiding Sanford's attempts to control the action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yamamoto tries to buck Sanford off but Sanford takes his back!
Sanford throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Yamamoto!
Yamamoto wants to get back to his feet.

Yamamoto is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Sanford is looking to control Yamamoto but Yamamoto is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Yamamoto has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
Sanford has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Yamamoto is trying to defend against the choke here but Sanford has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Sanford Tightens the hold and Yamamoto taps out furiously! Sanford displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
