The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Seu Braga and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pfeifer stuffs the takedown attempt from Corrello. Corrello gets slowly back to his feet.
Corrello swats away the attempt to clinch by Pfeifer.

Pfeifer drives through with a takedown into guard.

Corrello has his foot on Pfeifer's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pfeifer works his way back into a safe position though.
Pfeifer wants to control from the top but Corrello keeps moving.
Pfeifer knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Corrello on the ground.

Corrello escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pfeifer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Corrello working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pfeifer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pfeifer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Pfeifer has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Corrello is proving hard to escape from.

Corrello is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pfeifer pulls his head out easily.
Pfeifer wants to stand but Corrello has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Corrello manages to get to full guard.

Corrello gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Pfeifer moves into the clinch.

Pfeifer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Corrello closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Corrello lands in his opponent's guard.

Pfeifer is breathing heavily.
Corrello passes Pfeifer's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Corrello got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pfeifer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Corrello has managed to get both his arms back between Pfeifer's legs - danger averted.

Corrello drops back looking for a leg! Pfeifer is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pfeifer manages to kick Corrello off! Corrello jumps back into Pfeifer's guard.

Corrello has gone for a leg lock! Pfeifer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Corrello's guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Corrello has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pfeifer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Corrello escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pfeifer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Pfeifer working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Corrello's head.

Corrello has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Pfeifer should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Corrello has tightened it up now! Pfeifer should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
