Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Prince (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christian Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prince comes into the arena with The Fresh Prince blaring out of the sound system. Striker has chosen Rising Force as his entrance music. Christian Striker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Benjamin Prince!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christian Striker!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prince moves in looking to clinch but Striker pushes him off.
Prince tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Striker chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Prince can pounce on him.
Prince uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Striker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Prince's waist but Prince gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Striker off to one side.
Some bone on bone action there as Prince checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Prince tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Striker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Striker darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Striker wants to take a breather but Prince is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Prince is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Striker is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
