Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augusto connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Augusto closes the distance and pushes Gracie back into the cage.
Augusto gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Gracie.
Gracie is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Augusto's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Augusto has closed the distance and engaged Gracie in a clinch.
Gracie tries for a takedown. No joy.
Augusto jumps guard and drags Gracie to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Gracie wants to stand but Augusto is controlling his posture from full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Augusto is on top in guard.

Augusto stands up over Gracie, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Augusto slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Augusto prevents Gracie from getting back to his feet.
Augusto is breathing heavily.

Gracie is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Augusto is controlling him.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Augusto decides to stand and escape the position.
Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Augusto sprawls well. Augusto wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
Dan Augusto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baby Gracie.

Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Augusto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie rushes Augusto and presses him up against the cage.
Augusto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Augusto darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.
Gracie is working for takedown but Augusto is calmly controlling the position for now.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Gracie goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Augusto breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gracie is looking to clinch.
Augusto tries to clinch there but Gracie circles away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
No luck for Gracie with that takedown attempt.

Gracie closes the distance and clinches up with Augusto, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes Augusto against the cage but Augusto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Dan Augusto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Baby Gracie.
Augusto shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gracie napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Augusto decides to stand back up.
Augusto throws a lazy head kick
and Gracie counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Gracie has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Augusto is proving hard to escape from.

Gracie looking to sit in guard and control but Augusto gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Augusto should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Augusto should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
