Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dekkers sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dekkers misses with a head kick.
Dekkers is looking to clinch.
Smith closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dekkers to the mat! Dekkers manages to get full guard.
Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Dekkers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Dekkers wants to get back to his feet but Smith is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Dekkers is wriggling around but Smith manages to pass to half guard.
Smith seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dekkers does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Smith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Smith is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dekkers defends it well.
Dekkers kicks Smith off and gets back to his feet.
Smith misses with a kick to the body.

Smith lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dekkers pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smith looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
R Dekkers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Smith.
Dekkers is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Dekkers is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
