Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between uno dance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GR Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, uno dance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, GR Jones!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dance swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones.
dance slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in dance's guard.
dance pulls Jones in close to his closed guard and prevents Jones from doing any damage or advancing position.
dance keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.

dance has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jones can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Jones stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. dance swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
dance working a defensive guard here.

dance pulls Jones in close to prevent any damage.
dance wants to get back to his feet but Jones is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Jones.
uno dance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of GR Jones.
dance throws a low kick but Jones avoids it.
dance is looking to land body kicks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones dodges the punch combination from dance.
dance tries a head kick but it misses.

Jones clinches up with dance and pushes him back against the cage.
Jones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but dance pulls him back up using the underhooks.

dance breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Jones closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming dance to the mat! dance manages to get full guard.
Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
dance has control of Jones's left arm, preventing Jones from doing any damage.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but dance is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

dance is trying to keep Jones in close.

dance looking for a guillotine here but Jones defends easily.
Jones wants to control from the top but dance keeps moving.
Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jones throwing strikes but missing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
dance keeps the fight on the outside.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jones.
Jones looks gassed!
Jones shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jones missing with a left hand there. dance was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
dance slaps away a takedown attempt from Jones, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jones uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by dance.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Jones is defended easily by dance.

dance fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jones, pushing him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but GR Jones will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Jones counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Jones trying to control from dance's half guard. dance has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Jones wants to stand but dance has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Jones postures up.

Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
dance seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Jones is breathing heavily.
dance is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jones trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

dance clinches up against the cage.

dance is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him.

dance escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
dance slips a jab and a cross from Jones.

Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
dance is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.

dance looking for submissions off his back.

Jones is trying to work for a kimura but dance is defending well.

Jones is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

dance wants to get back to his feet.
dance misses with some strikes from the bottom.
dance is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.
Well, if Jones is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Jones throwing shots but dance is blocking nicely.
dance regains full guard. Nicely done.
Jones with a flurry of punches that miss.
dance controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself.
dance wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.
Jones thows a huge punch but dance dodges it nicely.
dance is trying to maintain the position but Jones is very close to passing his half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
dance is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Jones is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Jones is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
dance is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
dance fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away.

Jones shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

GR Jones showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! dance's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Jones tries for a takedown but dance circles away easily
and dance counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Jones is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch but dance swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
dance throws a head kick that misses

and Jones counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Jones.
Jones tries to pull guard but dance holds him up against the cage and eventually Jones drops back down to his feet.

dance's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches dance napping and manages to drive through into side control!
dance trying his best to control but Jones has mounted him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jones is standing up, even though he is in mount.
dance stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and dance wants it to stay on the feet.
uno dance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of GR Jones.
dance tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Jones looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for dance!
Jones misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jones unloads with some shots from mount but dance bucks and avoids them well.
dance tries to hold on but Jones pushes him away.
Jones looking to control but dance is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Jones might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control dance kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Jones jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… dance is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by dance and Jones has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
dance is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
dance wants to control but Jones postures up.
dance takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Jones tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, dance has escaped the position, nice work there.
You can see the frustration on dance's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Jones is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. dance knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jones is looking to take a break and control but dance is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
GR Jones is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but dance sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
dance can't do much from the bottom here.

Jones is trying to get an arm triangle but dance is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
dance is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
uno dance has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Jones keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

GR Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Jones winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
