Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Colin Ferraro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gomez Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Colin Ferraro!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gomez Adams!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Alexandre Firmino and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferraro leaves Adams with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ferraro ducks under a wild hook from Adams.
Ferraro on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ferraro displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Adams throws out the jab.

Ferraro gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ferraro goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ferraro has Adams pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Adams manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Adams tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ferraro just stands there and leans against the cage.
Ferraro wants a takedown.
Ferraro using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Ferraro working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Ferraro misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Adams.
Adams fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Colin Ferraro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gomez Adams.
Ferraro misses with a knee to the head.

Ferraro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ferraro tries to clinch there but Adams circles away.
Ferraro shoots for a double leg takedown but Adams sprawls well. He's pushed Ferraro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Adams instigates a clinch.

Ferraro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Ferraro tries to clinch but Adams moves away
and Adams counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Colin Ferraro has been cut.

Ferraro gets a takedown into half guard.
Adams keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Ferraro prevents Adams from standing back up.

Ferraro is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Adams has his hands clasped together around Ferraro's back. He's all about the action.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ferraro sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Adams defending well though.

Adams keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Adams is trying to get back to full guard.

Ferraro is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Adams doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ferraro.
Adams tries to kick Ferraro off but Ferraro keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Adams gets a clinch.
Ferraro lands a body shot.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Ferraro breaks from the clinch.
Adams moves in looking to clinch but Ferraro pushes him off.

Adams shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
The referee warns Ferraro that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Adams working for a guillotine from mount but Ferraro is in no mood to give up.
Ferraro sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Ferraro moves into full guard.
Adams's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Adams pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ferraro is keeping the position for now.

Ferraro is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Adams defends well.
Ferraro is breathing heavily.

Ferraro is trying to keep Adams in close.
Adams lands a couple of digs.

Adams drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ferraro looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ferraro looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ferraro!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adams tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Adams is trying to control Ferraro's posture but Ferraro avoids it.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Adams is looking to reverse the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gomez Adams dominated that round.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ferraro looks to clinch
and Adams counters with a straight right hand.
Ferraro throws a head kick but Adams moves out of range.
Adams misses with a kick to the body.
Ferraro misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ferraro swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Adams tries to clinch there but Ferraro circles away.

Adams closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ferraro moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Ferraro keeping moving, preventing Adams from controlling successfully.

Adams drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Adams jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Ferraro is looking to sinch up a triangle. Adams throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Ferraro's body to avoid the submission. Ferraro has instead reached around Adams's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Ferraro arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
