Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Harnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, matt johnson!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harnett feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harnett wants to control from the top but johnson keeps moving.
johnson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Harnett wants to stand but johnson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Harnett trying to control but johnson is working from the bottom.
Harnett stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. johnson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
johnson throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harnett trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but johnson manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
johnson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
johnson throws a body punch but Harnett moves out of range.
Harnett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around johnson's waist but johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harnett off to one side.
johnson throws a one two combo.
It looks like Josh Harnett has been cut.
johnson has Harnett up against the cage in a clinch.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
johnson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Harnett has gone for a leg lock! johnson slips out almost immediately though and dives into Harnett's guard.
johnson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Harnett wants to improve his position but instead johnson has moved into half guard.
johnson is trying for a kimura here. Harnett looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! johnson wins by kimura!
