The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
miller swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
NESS shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with miller but miller pushes him off and we're back to square one.
miller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but NESS paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from NESS.
miller scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like BIZZ NESS has been cut.
NESS checks a low kick from miller.
miller attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
miller misses with a wild body shot.
miller doesn't manage to clinch there - NESS circles away.
miller scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
miller wants to land a leg kick but NESS is out of range.
NESS shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BIZZ NESS. That's going to take a lot out of him.

NESS tries to score a power double leg takedown but miller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten NESS somewhat.
NESS shoots in for a takedown but miller shows good takedown defense.

miller stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and miller wants it to stay on the feet.
miller walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. NESS checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
miller misses with a leg kick.
miller dances in with a quick combination. NESS is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from miller snaps NESS's head back. NESS stumbles backwards against the cage. miller steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with NESS's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. NESS just didn't come prepared.
