Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alistair Mussum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandre Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mussum finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Mussum misses with a leg kick.
Mussum tries to land a front kick but Ribeiro steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ribeiro looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ribeiro shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mussum pinned against the cage. Mussum gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ribeiro changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mussum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mussum is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ribeiro has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Ribeiro is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Mussum will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Mussum is not content to let Ribeiro control the position.

Mussum is looking to get back to his feet here but Ribeiro is keeping cool and he's managed to take Mussum's back.

That's time! Mussum's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Ribeiro closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mussum circles away.
Ribeiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Mussum tries to sprawl out of it but Ribeiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mussum manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ribeiro changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mussum tries to avoid it but Ribeiro manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mussum to the ground. Mussum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alistair Mussum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandre Ribeiro.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Ribeiro tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mussum sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ribeiro somewhat.
Ribeiro shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mussum as he avoids it easily.
Mussum fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ribeiro.
Ribeiro is breathing heavily.
Mussum looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Ribeiro closes the distance and clinches.
Mussum wants to break free but Ribeiro has control.
Ribeiro pulls Mussum into guard.
Ribeiro pulls Mussum in close to prevent any damage.
Ribeiro is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mussum is controlling him.
Ribeiro looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mussum tries to stand but Ribeiro is controlling from the bottom.
Mussum has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ribeiro wants to get back to his feet but Mussum is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Ribeiro is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Mussum throws the left hand but Ribeiro avoids the punch easily.
Ribeiro shoots for a takedown but Mussum saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mussum is looking to score with low kicks.
Ribeiro pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ribeiro uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mussum.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mussum.

Mussum gets caught flat footed, as Ribeiro shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Mussum is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ribeiro is controlling him.
Ribeiro seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mussum on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mussum tries to get out of the position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alistair Mussum.
I think Mussum has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
