Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Simpleton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Davis Marcus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marcus has chosen "Princes of the Universe," by Queen as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Davis Marcus enters the cage!

Marcus tries to clinch there but Simpleton circles away.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Simpleton had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marcus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Simpleton Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marcus's back instead.

I would not like to be Marcus right now.
Simpleton's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

It looks like it's working - Simpleton slides off, much to his dismay, and we're back to standing! Marcus displaying calm under pressure there.
