Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Blammo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Joe Blammo enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blammo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blammo lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blammo wants to pass the guard but Souza is keeping the position.
Blammo wanted to stand there but Souza had control of the position.

Blammo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Blammo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Souza fails with the takedown

and Blammo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Souza!
Blammo landing strikes from the mount and Souza is in trouble!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blammo wants to control the pace but Souza is squirming around nicely.

Blammo is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Souza is surviving well by controlling Blammo's body position as best he can.
Souza really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Souza tries to lock up and control but Blammo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Blammo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Blammo gets the takedown into side control.
Souza can't do much from the bottom here.
Souza tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Blammo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Blammo decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Blammo looks gassed!

Blammo tries to close the distance and clinch but Souza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Souza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Blammo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Souza avoids it really well and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Blammo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Blammo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Souza paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Blammo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Souza is fending him off so far but Blammo persists. Nope, Souza circles away and we're back to standing.

Souza closes the distance and clinches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Souza lands a damaging elbow.
Souza is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Souza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Souza clinches.
Souza makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Souza is trying to drag Blammo to the mat but Blammo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
A nice left hand lands by Souza.
Come on Souza - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Blammo takes a knee right on the jaw!

Souza breaks the clinch.

Souza drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Souza creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Blammo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Blammo is working to avoid the ground and pound but Souza connects with a decent elbow.

Souza is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blammo knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Souza wants to control but Blammo is keeping him busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Souza is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Blammo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Souza gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Blammo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Souza lets go of the hold and Blammo can pop his arm back in it's socket.
