Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Imanari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragna Kisaragi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Imanari comes to the ring accompanied by Era - Ameno. Ragna Kisaragi acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shinya Imanari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ragna Kisaragi!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Imanari shoots in but Kisaragi avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Imanari changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kisaragi tries to avoid it but Imanari manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kisaragi to the ground. Kisaragi escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kisaragi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Imanari.
Kisaragi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Imanari shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Imanari showed some decent athleticism there.
Kisaragi wants to control but Imanari is keeping busy.
Imanari is looking to advance position but Kisaragi won't allow it.

Imanari is looking for a kimura here.
Imanari is trying to control the action in half guard but Kisaragi is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Imanari wants to free his trapped foot but Kisaragi is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Kisaragi moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


It looks like Shinya Imanari has been cut.

Kisaragi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Imanari will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Imanari walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Imanari takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kisaragi lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Imanari takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Imanari closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kisaragi to the mat! Kisaragi manages to get full guard.
Imanari controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kisaragi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Imanari gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kisaragi.
Kisaragi cracks Imanari with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Imanari shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kisaragi pinned against the cage. Kisaragi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Imanari feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Imanari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kisaragi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Imanari seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kisaragi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Imanari wants to control but Kisaragi is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The fighters circle momentarily. Kisaragi darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Imanari is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kisaragi doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Imanari.
Imanari wants to take a breather but Kisaragi is having none of it.

Imanari is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kisaragi has managed to free his arm - good work.
Kisaragi wants to control but Imanari passes into side.

Imanari tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Imanari has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Imanari has knee on belly momentarily but Kisaragi bucks him off and regains half guard.
Imanari stops Kisaragi from getting back to his feet.

Imanari is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kisaragi is just riding it out for now. Imanari eventually gives up the hold.
Imanari is looking to take a break and control but Kisaragi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kisaragi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kisaragi throws a series of punches but Imanari moves out of range.

Shinya Imanari's cut is getting worse.
Kisaragi lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Imanari sprawling to the canvas. Kisaragi follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Imanari hang on?
Kisaragi tries to stand and escape but Imanari is controlling the position.
Kisaragi is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Imanari reverses the position - he's now on top in Kisaragi's guard.
Imanari prevents Kisaragi from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Imanari closes the distance and clinches up with Kisaragi, looking for a takedown. Imanari pushes Kisaragi against the ropes but Kisaragi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Imanari looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Kisaragi can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Imanari controls the pace.
Kisaragi can't keep his opponent in guard - Imanari advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Kisaragi is looking to control Imanari's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kisaragi avoid being mounted?

Imanari is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Kisaragi is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
