Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jackson Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anderson comes to the cage accompanied by Sky is the limit. Jackson Hawk has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Anderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jackson Hawk!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawk closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hawk lands in his opponent's guard.
Hawk sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Anderson's guard.
Anderson has his hands clasped together around Hawk's back. He's all about the action.
Hawk trying to mount his opponent but Anderson defends it.
Anderson blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hawk.
The fighters are battling for position here. Anderson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Hawk stands up and waves to Anderson to follow him.
Hawk shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hawk tries to clinch there but Anderson circles away.

Hawk darts in and clinches Anderson up against the cage.

Hawk gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Anderson.
Anderson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hawk walks away with a smile on his face. Anderson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hawk tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Anderson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Anderson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hawk fails with an attempt to clinch.

Hawk clinches.
Hawk stalls.
Hawk lands a damaging elbow.
Hawk is looking to control Anderson's arms but Anderson gets an underhook and turns him. Now Hawk has his back to the cage.
Hawk tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Anderson is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Hawk can't fight it off and eventually Anderson manages to take the fight to the floor. Hawk looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Anderson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Anderson stands and throws Hawk's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Anderson looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Hawk is trying to control Anderson's posture but Anderson avoids it.
Hawk is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anderson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Anderson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Hawk counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hawk.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
