The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hazen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fuller defends it nicely.
A slow jab from Fuller misses its intended target.

Hazen throws a right hand that Fuller ducks under and follows up with a left that Fuller also avoids with ease.
Hazen shoots in for a takedown but Fuller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Hazen frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Hazen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Hazen is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Fuller is surviving well by controlling Hazen's body position as best he can.

Hazen is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fuller to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fuller shrugs it off.

Hazen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Fuller can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Fuller is still in real trouble! Can Hazen finish him?
Hazen looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fuller with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Fuller seems to have recovered his senses.
Hazen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fuller does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
