The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soni avoids a kick to the body.

Soni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with DeMilio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Soni sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed DeMilio's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
DeMilio wants to get back to his feet but Soni drags him back down.

DeMilio has left one of his arms exposed and Soni doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. DeMilio screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
