Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Wiggum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wiggum takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wiggum changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Allen tries to avoid it but Wiggum manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Allen to the ground. Allen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Allen shoots in for a takedown but Wiggum shows good takedown defense.
Allen connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wiggum's hands.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
