The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ewert in his tracks.
Ewert takes a swing at Gonzalez's ribcage but misses.

Ewert throws a body punch but Gonzalez moves out of range.

Ewert ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gonzalez moves away.
Gonzalez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Gonzalez throws a wild body kick that Ewert sees coming a mile off.
Gonzalez misses with a two punch combination.
Gonzalez keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ewert.
Gonzalez connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ewert. Ewert circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ewert misses with a double jab
and Ewert takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Ewert is rocked!
Ewert throws a shot from downtown. Gonzalez moves away and avoids it.
Oh Ewert is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Gonzalez is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Ewert flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Ewert is out cold! Gonzalez holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
