Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Cordeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cordeiro comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Perry Mason kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rafael Cordeiro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cordeiro drops Pierre with a beautiful combination! Pierre stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Cordeiro is looking for the KO!

It looks like Anderson Pierre has been cut.
Cordeiro shoots in for a takedown but Pierre shows good takedown defense.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cordeiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Pierre swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Pierre gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Cordeiro lands an uppercut.
Pierre is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Cordeiro lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pierre backwards.

Pierre drags the fight down to the ground.

Pierre pushes Cordeiro off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Pierre seems to have got his legs back now.

Pierre darts in and clinches Cordeiro up against the cage.

Pierre is trying to break the clinch but Cordeiro is controlling him.
Cordeiro has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pierre avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Pierre gets through Cordeiro's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cordeiro goes for a takedown attempt but Pierre pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Pierre forces Cordeiro back against the cage and clinches.

Pierre breaks from the clinch.

Pierre drops Cordeiro with a left and a right! Oh, Cordeiro is hurt - Pierre dives into side control looking to finish!

Cordeiro is rocked!

It looks like Rafael Cordeiro has been cut.

Pierre decides to stand back up.
Cordeiro is still on wobbly legs! Can Pierre finish him?
Cordeiro has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pierre throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Cordeiro colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Pierre as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Cordeiro is left battered and dazed whilst Pierre and his camp cheer!
