The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Polfavol throws a sloppy head kick and PG Master moves out of range easily.

PG Master is looking for a sweep.

Polfavol is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. PG Master knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
PG Master is trying to work for a sweep but Polfavol has mounted him!

Polfavol working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Polfavol is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but PG Master is surviving well by controlling Polfavol's body position as best he can.

Polfavol jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… PG Master is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by PG Master and Polfavol has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
PG Master sneaks back into half guard.

Polfavol is sneakily working for an arm triangle but PG Master sees it coming and defends easily.
PG Master is looking to improve his position.
Polfavol is trying to control. PG Master wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
PG Master gets back to full guard.
Polfavolis looking to pass into half guard but PG Master pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now PG Master is in guard.

PG Master is really struggling to control Polfavol but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
PG Master bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
PG Master displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Polfavol.
PG Master lands a nice hook to Polfavol's body. Polfavol takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Polfavol looks gassed!

Polfavol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Polfavol postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! PG Master is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Polfavol, into his guard.

PG Master drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Polfavol dives on top into guard.

PG Master is looking to sinch up a triangle. Polfavol throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to PG Master's body to avoid the submission. PG Master has instead reached around Polfavol's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! PG Master arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
